On November 1st we went to the show in Hannover, Germany. Judge for the day was Walter Brandt.
Gandalf was 3rd in Championclass with Excellent. One week after the show he got sick again, now with a really bad cold
and an upper respiratory infection. It never seems to end...So we've just been to 2 shows since July and it seems like this was maybe the last one we went to.
Anyway...the first seven months this year we had a blast and I can look back on all the years we've had in the showrings and say I had some good and bad times...
but mostly good ones. Only time will tell what happens next, untill then we'll just chill out

We went to Swedish KC show in Öland and Gandalf won championclass and ended up as 3rd Best Male, not bad after what we've been through

KC Show in Borås
Judge for today was Michael Gadsby.
Gandalf was shown by Camilla Fritz in BM competition. This was the first time ever, someone else showed him :-)
I had the opportunity to show Summerstorm's Dante's Peak "Frey"
And that was fun. On his first official show he got 1-1 with CQ but wasn't placed in BM.

Another weekend and A LOT of driving...
On Saturday we went to the show in Norrköping for judge Martin Croeser, South Africa. Gandalf was 5th Best Male.
&
On Sunday we went to Vänersborg for judge Seamus Oates, Irland. But today he was only 1-5 with CQ in Championclass.
Fingol was also at Vänersborg, he did good on his second official show (pitures under Links, Fingol)

This weekend we took of to Norway to the Norwegian Sighthound specialty . On the way I picked up Camilla and Fingol. It was so nice to finally meet them again
Both were entered in open class but none was placed in Best Male. I think Fingol did really good for the 1st time out in ring
Gandalf was placed 1-3 with CQ in a quite big class, nine open males, so I'm very happy!
A great trip I think none of us will forget

Gandalf was 2nd in championclass with CQ and unplaced in Best Male competition at the show in Västerås today.
We don't give up that easy...but grumpy old men can stay at home ;O) and I don't mean the judge, he was really nice!

It's done! It's over! We're finished !!!
We've been working our butts of to get to this day.
At the international show in Holland, for judge Mr Andre v.d. Broek, Gandalf was second best dog, winning R-CAC and R-CACIB
But... as the winning dog already is International and Dutch champion this will be CAC and CACIB.
Mr A. v.d. Broek critique as follows:
" 7 year old male, very beautiful type. Shown in top condition. Excellent proportions. Beautiful maskuline head. Good dentition.
Dark eyes. Beautiful topline. Ex. angulations front & rear. Ex. ribcage. Sound and typical movements
